  • Licenses can be obtained at the Kay C Mackesey Administration Building. You need to provide your current dog's rabies vaccination certificate.

    Dog tags expire December 31 of each year and are available for sale starting approximately December 15 for the next year but must be purchased by March 31st of each year. Licenses renewed after April 1st will be assessed a late fee of $5.

    You may also submit your current rabies certificate of vaccination (must have the date rabies vaccination was given, name of the manufacturer of the vaccine, and expiration date) with your tax payment along with a stamped self-addressed envelope. Payment for Dog Licenses may not be included with your tax payment.

  • Property Tax bills are usually sent out on our before the 3rd Monday in December.

  • Real Estate payments are due either in full or half by January 31st every year in person to the Kay C Mackesey Administration Building at 50 Wisconsin Dells Parkway South or by U.S. Mail postmarked no later than January 31st of that year to the Village of Lake Delton at P.O. Box 87 Lake Delton WI 53940-0087.

    If you pay only half by January 31st the second half is due by July 31st of the same year to the Sauk County Treasurer at 505 Broadway Baraboo WI 53913. To verify payments after January 31st please call the Sauk County Treasurer at 608-355-3275.

    If you are requesting a receipt, please enclose a stamped self-addressed envelope. If making payment by check, your tax receipt is not valid until the check has cleared the bank.

    Office Hours: 

    • Monday through Thursday from 8:00 am until 4:30 pm

    • Friday from 8:00 am until 2:00 pm.

    The Office will be closed the following holidays: Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Years Eve and New Years Day. (December 24th, 25th and 31st, and January 1st each year)

    **If the holiday falls on a Sunday, Monday will be treated as the holiday.

    **If the holiday falls on Saturday, Friday will be treated as the holiday.

    Beginning December 15th each year. As a convenience to our customers, you will be able to pay online from checking or savings accounts and credit card 24/7 via Payment Service Network. There is a fee to use this service; our payment processor (PSN) charges a $1.10 fee for checking and savings accounts. The credit card charge is 3% (+ $.50 if payment is under $100). You can only pay one bill per transaction, and all payments must be completed by midnight on January 31.
