COVID- 19 Update as May 14, 2020

Sauk County Public Health (SCPH) strongly encourages all Sauk County residents to voluntarily comply with the key components of the Safer at Home Order. These include:

  1. Maintain at least 6 feet between yourself and others;
  2. Do not congregate in groups larger than 10 people without physical distancing between groups;
  3. Wash your hands frequently;
  4. Disinfect frequently touched surfaces;
  5. Cover coughs and sneezes.

In the spring of 2008, the Village of Lake Delton completed the construction of the new restrooms at the boat launch. Due to the draining of Lake Delton in June of 2008, the Village took the opportunity to give the old launch a complete makeover.

The New East Adams boat launch is now complete with:

  • Accessibility ramp for people in wheelchairs
  • Two slips reserved for loading and unloading ONLY (time limit of 15 minutes)
  • Two launch areas for loading and unloading from trailer
  • Limited parking for vehicles with trailers only

Preventive Measures by NR 40 (Statutes and Rules)

  • Do not use a prohibited invasive fish or crayfish species as bait.
  • Do not introduce a nonnative aquatic plant, algae or cyanobacteria species into any water of the state.
