In the event of an emergency, call 911 and stay on the phone until the police, fire or EMS arrive.
Information about police officers in the U.S.: Please do not be afraid to approach a police officer and ask for help. Police officers are public servants and can be trusted. They will not ask you for money and if you are lost, please do not hesitate to ask for directions. Police also may help with injuries or if you are the victim of a crime. There is never a charge for police assistance.
